Accessibility statement

Accessibility statement for private subjects referred to in Article 3, paragraph 1 of Law No. 4 of January 9, 2004

Statement

Digital Paths Srl Società Benefit is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with Law No. 4 of January 9, 2004. This accessibility statement applies to: https://www.digitalpaths.it/.

Compliance Status

Partially compliant - this website is partially compliant with the requirements set out in Appendix A of the UNI CEI EN 301549 standard due to the non-compliance cases listed below.

Inaccessible content

The content listed below is not accessible due to non-compliance with Law No. 4 of January 9, 2004.

Contrast and Color

  • In some cases, color alone has been used to identify a purpose or distinguish information or a function;

  • The visual representation of text and images containing text does not always meet the minimum contrast ratio required, except for exceptions provided by the regulations (e.g. logos);

  • For some essential components, even in different states, the color contrast compared to adjacent elements does not exceed the ratio of 3:1;

Images and Text Alternatives

  • There are images without text alternatives. On some pages, there are images containing text that do not have a text alternative that includes the visible text within them, which would prevent assistive technologies from reading their content.

Multimedia Content

  • The pre-recorded video content on the site does not have accessible alternatives, such as transcripts for audio or audio descriptions for videos, compromising access to information for users with visual or auditory disabilities.

Keyboard Navigation and Interaction

  • On some pages, keyboard navigation is not fully supported. Some elements are not accessible without a mouse and the focus indicator is not always visible. Additionally, there is no mechanism to skip repetitive content blocks, slowing down navigation, nor is there a method to properly manage additional content visible on mouse hover or focus, which in some cases disappears before it can be reached.

  • In some sections that can be navigated sequentially and where the navigation sequence affects their meaning and functioning, some objects that could receive focus do not receive it in an order that preserves their meaning and operability;

  • For some animations, flickers, scrolling, or auto-updating information that start automatically, with a duration over five seconds or presented in parallel with other content, there are no mechanisms to interrupt or hide them;

Code Structure and Assistive Technologies

  • In most pages, the structure and relationships between elements are not always programmatically conveyed or through a text alternative. Some interactive elements do not correctly communicate their name, role, or value, making it difficult to understand and interact for those using screen readers or other support tools. Additionally, in some parts of the site, the code contains syntax errors or invalid markup, which may prevent assistive technologies from correctly interpreting the content and functionalities of the page.

  • In some cases, user interface components (including: form elements, links, and script-generated components…) have incorrect or unset names, roles, states, properties, and values, or users and their assistive technologies are not notified when these change;

  • some links do not provide clear information about their purpose, making it difficult for users to understand where they lead without having to read the surrounding context. Moreover, some links are not correctly labeled (by name and/or role) in the code, preventing assistive technologies from interpreting them correctly.

Forms and Inputs

  • In some cases, input fields are not sufficiently described to allow assistive technologies to identify their purpose, name, role, and value.

Layout and Adaptability

  • On some pages, the layout manages text resizing and adaptation to small screens ineffectively, compromising readability and functionality;
