It all started from an analysis of brand positioning and perception in Italy, to understand how Alibaba.com was viewed and experienced by Italian companies. From there, we built a tailor-made editorial plan, with the aim of translating the complexity of the B2B market and platform services into simple, direct, and visually appealing content.
Infographics, short videos, and impactful visuals showcased the tools and opportunities offered by Alibaba.com, while the real stars became the companies and people who use the platform every day to take their business global. A human, tangible narrative made up of real cases and success stories created an authentic connection between the brand and its community.
In just a few months, Alibaba.com’s Italian community grew exponentially: 140,000 fans on Facebook and 7,000 followers on LinkedIn began actively engaging with the content, while over 10,000 organic interactions confirmed the audience’s interest in the topics presented.
And it didn’t stop there: this direct and accessible storytelling sparked genuine curiosity among companies, resulting in more than 3,000 information requests and marking the start of a concrete dialogue between Alibaba.com and the Italian business landscape.
