Climate change is a shared challenge—but how can cities drive the energy transition effectively?
Selected for the NetZero Cities Pilot Programme, funded by the European Union under the Mission Climate 2030, the 9 Cities for Climate Governance project aims to reduce emissions from energy consumption through new collaborative governance models. The goal is clear: to strengthen coordination between municipal administrations and external stakeholders, making cities more sustainable and resilient.
Bologna leads the project alongside Bergamo, Florence, Milan, Padua, Parma, Prato, Rome, and Turin: nine Italian cities engaged in a hands-on experiment to accelerate decarbonization and shape the future of climate-neutral urban environments.
For Let’sGOv, we developed a coherent visual identity and a two-year communication plan, managing the production of all brand materials. We designed and created assets and templates to ensure consistent communication among all stakeholders, while also managing and moderating the social channels, populated with bilingual content (Italian–English). Additionally, we produced video interviews, culminating in the creation of the final docu-video.
Over the two years of activity, we acted as communication leads and coordinators, managing the flow of information between the nine participating cities, the three technical-scientific partners, and all stakeholders. We provided continuous support, both on-site during major events and remotely through meetings and weekly updates, ensuring coherence and continuity in the project’s storytelling.
